TEHRAN - Iran’s Azad University claimed the title of the 8th Asian Water Polo Clubs Championship.

The Azad University won the round-robin event by defeating Al Arabi of Kuwait 7-6 in a close game at Tehran’s Azadi Sports Complex.
Naftogaz of Omidiyeh finished in second place and Al Arabi came third.
Asian Water Polo Clubs Championships brought together a total of four teams of which two were Iranian
